Coffee, Code & Community : Cyclist Cafe on a Pi Day

Date: 14th March 2026 09:00 AM - 14th March 2026 03:14 PM

Since 2012, Pi Day has been a special annual ritual at 366Pi — a day when our geographically distributed team comes together to think, build, reflect, and reconnect. Over the years, Pi Day has helped us align around ideas, products, partnerships, engineering progress, and the deeper conversations that usually get lost in the rush of everyday work.

This year, we are doing something different.

For Pi Day 2026, 366Pi is turning Cyclist Cafe, Ranchi into an office for a day. From 9:00 AM to 3:14 PM on Friday, 14 March, we will work from the cafe, host a series of focused talks, and invite selected community members to join us in a collaborative problem-solving format.

Cyclist Cafe feels like the right place for this edition of Pi Day. It stands for culture, caffeine, cycling, and community, which resonates strongly with how we see learning, building, and showing up together.

This is not just a meetup.

It is a working session, a public-facing collaboration space, and a shared day of ideas, code, systems thinking, engineering maturity, and relationship building.

What the day is about

At the heart of the event are four problem statements that participants can explore together in teams:

  1. AI Release Readiness Agent — an AI-powered system that analyzes code changes, identifies risky areas, suggests missing tests, and generates a release readiness report.
  2. MCP Server for Blockbook — building an MCP-compatible server that exposes FLO blockchain explorer APIs as tools usable by AI agents.
  3. AI Engineering Knowledge Agent — a retrieval and reasoning system that answers engineering questions by searching across docs, repos, diagrams, and internal guides.
  4. Building a Scalable Like System — designing a high-throughput, event-driven system capable of processing massive engagement traffic with asynchronous pipelines, caching, and scalability concepts.

The goal is not only to discuss these ideas, but to think through them like builders — with architecture, trade-offs, engineering practicality, and collaboration in mind.

Who can attend

This event is open to:

  • 366Pi team members
  • invited partners and guests
  • selected members from the wider community

Community participation is welcome, but entry is only through registration and approval. Since this is a working-format day with limited space and active team collaboration, registrations will be reviewed before confirmation. Approved participants may join a team, contribute to one of the problem areas, take part in the conversations, and experience how 366Pi thinks through real systems and real-world product building.

Event format

We begin the day by assembling at 8:30 AM and setting up our shared workspace at Cyclist Cafe. From 9:00 AM onward, the space becomes a live office environment — part work session, part community exchange, part collaborative build lab.

The day includes:

  • office-style working from the venue
  • problem-solving in small groups
  • three focused speaker sessions
  • interaction with team members, partners, and guests
  • open discussion around systems, product thinking, engineering, and collaboration

Why join

If you enjoy systems thinking, engineering discussions, product ideas, AI, blockchain, community learning, or simply being around people who like to build with intent, this day may be worth joining.

You will get a chance to:

  • experience 366Pi’s Pi Day in a new format
  • engage with live problem statements
  • work alongside builders and thinkers
  • listen to practical sessions from the team
  • contribute to conversations that move from idea to architecture to engineering to adoption

Registration note

Registration is mandatory. Approval is required before participation. Submitting the form does not automatically confirm a seat. Approved participants will be informed separately.

We look forward to spending Pi Day the way we value it most — together, in conversation, in work, in curiosity, and in motion.
